At the Prochaska, Howell & Prochaska LLC Law Firm, our medical malpractice attorneys in Wichita believe it is our responsibility to support the communities in which we serve. Many of our clients have benefited from community organizations, so it is our goal to help our past, present, and future clients, as well as those who are less fortunate. This past June, the PHP Law Firm proudly supported the M&M Insurance Associates‘ Second Annual Giveback benefitting Wichita’s Littlest Heroes.
Where No One Fights Alone
Founded in March of 2014, Wichita’s Littlest Heroes provides regular, free events for children and families facing life-threatening diseases to form relationships and bonds with others in similar situations. The events hosted by Wichita’s Littles Heroes offer these individuals a chance to celebrate and have a moment of fun with others who can relate to their struggles. Additionally, the organization provides monthly events, financial assistance, education classes, memberships to local attractions, free Hero capes, online support, helpful resources, access to a medical supply closet, and much more! Currently, the organization aides over 500 Kansas families with children of all different ages and diagnoses.
This Year’s Annual Giveback
This summer, M&M Insurance Associates hosted its Second Annual Giveback benefitting Wichita’s Littlest Heroes with food, music, raffles, and activities for all ages. Our team at the PHP Law Firm was proud to show our support for the community organization and contributed a Kansas City Royals-themed basket, including a pair of Royals tickets to two consecutive games, a $200 gift card for hotel and dinner accommodations, and $20 to spend at the stadium. Overall, the event surpassed its initial goal of $2,500, raising $3,500 that will directly benefit children and families in the community.
“It was hot, but we had a great time and an awesome turnout! The Royals basket was a huge success and was one of the top three raffle baskets,” said Kevin Pleitez, lead organizer of this year’s event. “Thank you to the PHP Law Firm for being a partner in our success as a generous donor—it is all very much appreciated!”
